Processing of Personal Data
The data controller for the translation agency paroles.lt is MB "Tempus vernum" (registration code 303280927), legal address: J. The processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – for the performance of a contract between the client and the company.

What personal data will be collected:
  • First and last name, phone number, and email address;
  • Date of birth;
  • Residential address (for document delivery);
  • Service price and payment-related data (purchase history);
  • Customer service data.

Why personal data will be collected:
Personal data is used solely for managing and delivering client orders. Purchase history data (purchase date, services, quantity, client details) is used to prepare summaries of acquired services and to generate requests to Lithuanian institutions.
Personal data (client’s name and surname, email, phone number, address) is collected in order to fulfill your order and, if necessary, to resolve issues related to the smooth provision of your ordered services (customer service).
In order to fulfill your order, your personal data may be transferred to third parties:
  • Translators and editors – if a translation service is required (only when such data appears in the documents to be translated);
  • Notaries – if notarized translation, apostilles, or other notarial services are required;
  • State institutions – if certificates or attestations are ordered on your behalf and at your request;
  • Lithuanian Post and couriers (name, surname, address, phone number, email) – if document delivery is required.
  • Some data may be processed using cloud services whose servers are located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the company ensures compliance with appropriate safeguards as required by the GDPR
Personal data will be processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, in accordance with the requirements set by legal acts, only for the purposes stated in this consent, and ensuring data security by implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data from unlawful destruction and/or accidental alteration, disclosure, and any other unlawful processing.

Data retention:
  • Purchase history is stored for three years.
  • In other cases, data is retained longer only in the event of a user-raised dispute regarding payments, or until the claim is satisfied or the limitation period expires.
  • Personal data required for accounting purposes is stored for ten years.
In accordance with Articles 15–18 and 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016, you have the following rights:
  1. To be informed about the processing of your personal data;
  2. To access your personal data and how it is being processed;
  3. To request correction of your personal data;
  4. To request data deletion (the "right to be forgotten");
  5. To restrict or suspend the processing of your personal data;
  6. To object to the processing of your personal data (in which case we will not be able to provide services).
  7. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@paroles.lt. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal
